ECO Workflow Blank Title 116889

I'm reaching out to see if any of you are currently using Epicor's ECO Workflow functionality? We've been going through the process of testing it since about September. We've identified how we need it to work and what Epicor seems capable of doing, but now were running into roadblocks. If we can't get specific functionality, it will be a show stopper.

The short story; when moving past Task Sets (the workflow template) to the ECO Workbench (working through an actual ECO). It doesn't seem possible to do a couple things:
1. Add / Delete Future Tasks
• You may be following a specific workflow, but for this specific ECO you realize another step needs to be added or a step can be skipped
• It would be preferable to update the workflow when you realize this change needs to take place and not wait until you get to that specific task
• You can add a task, but only under a milestone and the sequence cannot be changes. IE – you can't add a task to be completed 3 steps from now. So you can add an immediate need, but can't plan ahead.
• Deletion of a task within a current ECO being done seems to be impossible at the Milestone level.
2. Changing Task Assignment
• In a situation where you normally have let's say Steve assigned to complete a task within the Task Set, if you're actually going through an ECO you may realize ahead of time that Steve is on vacation this week and won't be able to perform that task when you get to it
• As of now, you can't reassign the future task to a new person without changing the overall Task Set. IE – you have to change the original template to allow for a possible one time occurrence. Or you have to wait until that task actually comes up, then have his manager assign a new person at that time. Obviously that's a bottleneck and not efficient or prudent planning.

If any of you are working with this, are you willing to discuss customizations you may have made to work around it? Are you doing anything similar? It's looking like we'll have to customize task and workflow functionality, not a project I'm excited to undertake before a 700 upgrade, and I'm reaching for ideas.
