Also on ver 6.10, we do something similar with a Global Alert Email, based on a custom progress program - however we currently email only 'internal' to our own folks.

Vantage 8.03.407 Progress
We want to start emailing our customers shipping information like PO#,
SO#, Tracking/Pro Number, shipper, shipping date, etc. when the order
has been shipped. We have Insite Manifest, but the combination of
Vantage and Insite Manifest seems to be limited to emailing only on
Fedex and UPS shippments. We also have advance print manager, but it
looks like my best solution may be a BPM. I'm thinking about doing
this when the Invoiced field in the shipping table becomes true (we
invoice right after shipping).
Has anyone else done something like this? Does anyone have a better
way of doing this? Any comments are appreciated.
