Employee Time Clock - In and Out Punches (v8.03)

With Vantage 6.1, we swipe in and out with magnetic card swipe readers on the shop PC's and the data is fed into Vantage from the Vantage Labor Collector/Gateway module, but they got rid of that function in Vantage 8.x :(

I am trying to get some type of ideas as to the type of hardware that
would be required to have employees punch in and out for the start and
end of a shift only. Are there some kind of stand alone card
readers/bar code scanners that interface with Vantage to log in and
out employee time clock punches with the payroll module? I would
prefer not to be forced to setup a client terminal if at all possible.
