Epicor 9 Quote Entry

Did you have that user log in as themselves on a PC where it was working for another user?  We had a problem with the quote form crashing all the time for one of our users.  Worked fine from another PC but not his - ended up being his windows setting (medium fonts I think).  We got a one off and I think that was formally fixed in 702a.
Hi Everyone,

I have a strange situation.

Once of my users cannot add lines to quotes. If we sign on as any other user we can but this particular user can add a quote then add the customer but cannot add a line.

Any clues ?

Can they add lines for quotes in other territories? It could be that they are set up with limited access in the CRM territory security. Have you checked their workforce setup?
We had the same problem earlier this year.   I ended up deleting all personalizations for the user on the Quote Entry screen and then they were able to add Lines to the quote.
No it’s this one user in all territories.  He has security access.

I don't believe security manager overrides territory issues, at least not universally.Â

I agree sounds like you need to do a personalization purge on at least the quote entry screens.

You can also do it through the Customization Maintenance screen (in Utilities).
We had the same situation earlier this year.  I ended up deleting all personalizations for the user for the Quote Entry screen and then they were able to add lines to quotes.  

Go to Personalization purge under Utilities.

There you can pull in all the personalizations by user.

The other possibility is the local folder on the users PC isn’t updating for E9.

We had that happen a couple of weeks ago with the AP payment entry; process payments was grayed out for our AP clerk, but no one else. I used customization maintenance to delete it when I was on the phone with the tech. He also had me turn on developer mode, bring up the entry program and delete the personalization from there. That fixed the problem.
