Epicor User Group

Fair enough, in fact we just did a survey on support late last year. I think the suggestion to have a survey of the month is a really good one.

Thanks

How about some surveys to EUG members asking things like how we feel about support, top 5 issues with version of Vantage / Epicor for your company? I know one of the main benefits proclaimed for this group is that you are such a large group to bring things to attention to Epicor, but I am unaware of how to participate in that. It would be nice if a weekly or monthly survey was sent to ask for feedback on whatever current topic you might bring to Epicor…Something automatic to us – so we do not have to remember to go out to the website see if there is anything going on etc…I am a new EUG member and will not go to Perspectives and do not have the time to “search” for my benefits in EUG…

I think the fee is fine pending you plan on attending Perspectives.

If you plan on going to Perspectives, absolutely it is worth it.

From their website:

Discounted registration to Perspectives. The discount for a single person attending Perspectives virtually pays for your EUG membership, and it applies to any number of attendees from your company, a true win-win situation.

Since the membership fee is per *company*, if you have multiple or just one person going, it’s a deal.

If you don’t go to Perspectives, then take the $360, keep $120 for yourself and send Rob Bucek $120 and me the last $120. We’ll call it even. ;-)

Even if you don't, this appears to be the ONLY customer group that
works directly with the developers. They also maintain the only
enhancement list. Finally, if you're part of a local user's group,
they will keep your checkbook and other records for you. The one year
the company didn't pay for it, I actually paid the bill.

I'm a member of the EUG and it has helped. They also have a forum to ask
questions. If you haven't been to Perspectives, you may want to look at
going - though it's now called Insights. I went to my first one in 2010 and
learned quite a bit as well as meeting many of my peers. The EUG also has
regional groups, so you may want to check that out also.

What Karen said.
We've been an EUG member for a number of years and the closest we've ever
gotten to contributing is doing a couple classes at perspectives. Not to
sound lazy or ungrateful, but I have enough websites and lists and such
that I have to check as it is. I'd love to get 2 emails every
month/week/whatever. A survey in the first one and Epicor's responses in
the second.
