Subject: RE: [Vantage] General VBI / CorVu Install Questions

We just installed Corvu and we are picking up the Training Database
instead of Live - even though the port it is connecting to is 6100.
Epicor and I have both double checked all our settings but nothing we
change seems to work.

Has anyone else run into this problem before? If so, how did you fix
it????

Vantage 6.10.521 running on Windows 2000 server using a Progress
database.

Mine is on the same server, but a different physical drive. The updates
to
the data are scheduled to run at night.

Subject: [Vantage] General VBI / CorVu Install Questions

We are in the planning stages of our VBI/CorVu
implementation/installation project and I am trying to determine the
best home for the software and the data that drives its
reporting/analysis. Is CorVu better located on the Vantage server or
should it be installed somewhere else? Any rules of thumb for
determining the resources that it requires? I looked at the install
materials that I received from Tech Support and the recommendation
was to keep CorVu on at least a different physical drive from
Vantage. Any and all input is greatly appreciated. We are on Vantage
6.1 and Corvu is 4.3.

Sincerely,
Peter Dunbar
