Ghost groups in cash receipt entry

This happened to us over a year ago, and I ended up calling support. I
am pretty sure they had me run one of the database conversion programs
under utilities, and this made the batch go away. If nothing else
works, that is my suggestion - call support and see which one of the
programs need to be run.

A long time ago we had a group that wasn't there that was there... they
had us recreate the group exactly how it was (the name) and then post
that blank group. It worked but it was a long time ago and on a version
probably before 6.1.

We have several groups that appear to be open in cash receipt entry.
But when you go into the groups, there is nothing entered in these
groups. We try to post the group and it tells us that it has already

If I remember correctly this bug was released only fixed in 8.00.
