Global Alerts/Email Process running but no emails being sent

We are having the same problem. We are in the middle of piloting to go live
on 9.05.603 and we are not receiving the emails that we used to. I checked
the epicor.smtp.log file and the emails look like they are working, but they
have the “Queued mail for delivery” message, however, the emails are never
hitting the pop email mail box. We are just using the built in pop email in
windows 2003Â…

There is a folder in oe101c_wrk (I'm on 9.04.506C) and it is identical to
the similar folder on the old server, with messages listed and the phrase
"Queued mail for deliver" response from the Exchange server.

There is no reference on the Exchange (2003) server for the old Epicor
server... shouldn't there be some connector for it that I could just replace
with the new one?

We migrated to a new server over the weekend, and one of the niggling problems is that Email alerts aren't going out. The Global Alerts/Email process is running, but the log shows nothing besides the Processing and Complete entries, and none of the folks (Buyers, for instance) are receiving emails that should be automatically generated. Does some setting need to be recreated when moving to a new server? Company Config still shows the email server with the proper port, and these are BPMs calling the BPMEmail.p program.

Any ideas about what isn't firing?

If you are hosting your own email server, make sure your new Vantage server is
allowed to relay messages. Is there anything in your Global Alert Message Error
Log?
