Global Finite Scheduling and MRP

From what I understand, first you would need to go through all your current
jobs and click the schedule locked. Then when you have a number of new jobs
to schedule you go into your global finite scheduling icon and set a start
date. This should only schedule job which don't have there schedule locked
turned on (new jobs) this will forward schedule and not overload work
centers.

Subject: [Vantage] Global Finite Scheduling and MRP

Are there any companies that are on Vantage version 6.1 and using MRP and
Global Finite Scheduling ? If so, do you have any advice as to how these
tools can used together. We have been using MRP with great success for a
couple of years but have had problems trying to incorporate Global Finite
Scheduling.
