And got the same results.

you can try adding -convmap f:\epicor\convmap.cp to your startup shortcut. By default the system is taking the DLC path, which in your case is the d:\epicor folder and most likely the client workstation doesn't have the same D:\ folder as the server. Just set the f:\epicor to your clients server share path/drive that they would be able to see the convmap.cp file.

It exist on the server. The user does have read by not modify access. I copied the files into the server folders but I'm running it from the client.

does the file convmap.cp exsist in "d:\epicor\oe101b\"? What are it's attributes? Are you trying to run Report Builder from a client pc or on the server itself?

I just tested this on my test server and Lonnie is correct. I was able to create a report from scratch. Have to see if I can bring over some of the 6.1 reports and get them to run. Then have to see if we can launch a report from within Vantage from a button........

Yes, I can confirm!
I dropped a couple of fields from the Resource table in Vantage 8
and fired away, and the Resource table doesn't exist in Vantage 6.1.
Now someone needs to find a problem with this.
C'mon, dash our hopes.

an entirely new report can be created from scratch against a
progress 10.x DB I might be ready to celebrate. I can't see where
it would harm anything, being read-only, but in the long run I'm sur
we will ahve to move to CR anyway. Would make the transition pain a
lot easier though. Thanks for the find.
