How to change USER ID

Lydia,

You can't delete a "Shop Employee" ID which affects labor data
collection entries. The USER ID is different, it is the person allowed
to use the Vantage license to make entries, other than data entry, under
specific security levels. A person can be both a Shop Employee and a
USER. When a user leaves the company, we delete the user to keep a
better handle on system security and to assure that nobody can access
Vantage using a departed users identification and make entries without
traceable to the user. The record of entries made by departed users
remains.

What happens to all the labor entries with that user attached to
it when you
delete the user? It used to create a problem-I'm not sure if it
still does.
I think the labor becomes ummmmm....unattached somehow. Sorry,
have no
better word for it.

Just a thought-test it first in the test database.

But you can delete a user and reenter the person and assign them
a
