How to make the '&' symbol show up on the EpiLabel

On the Customization Tools Dialog, Properties, of a particular EpiLabel, I have the text of “D & B Number”, but the display hides the & symbol. I know that I could write it out as “D and B Number”, but I do not know if there is a trick to display the & symbol in an EpiLabel.
