The PCL6 drivers are nothin' but trouble. Try uninstalling them; and use
the PCL5 driver from the HP web site, or the install CD.

I have a new HP 3330 multifunction printer attached via a parallel port to a
computer in our shipping department. It uses a PCL 6 driver. This printer
is attached to a Win98 pc. I can't seem to share the printer reliably. A
Win98 pc printing directly to the host Win98 pc prints most of the time. I
set the printer up on a Win2K server and it seems to print most of the time
from the server.

Trying the printer wizard on a Win98 pc and pointing at the Win2k server
instead of directly at the Win98 host locks the wizard and crashes the pc.

Any ideas on what to look for?

Use PS drivers on a network. Much faster and more reliable. Try just going
to the share in network neighborhood to install the printer by double
clicking on it.
