You can also turn off "Broadcast" in the TCP/IP settings for the network card on the Win95 PC's. This polls the network and can cause major system slowdowns

Try changing your network card to 10MBPS/Half Duplex. We
found that we had some cards that did not play well together with
our switch (Autonegotiating). Hard setting the card speed cleared
up the problem on machines we were having problems with.
