You can also turn off "Broadcast" in the TCP/IP settings for the network card on the Win95 PC's. This polls the network and can cause major system slowdowns

I'm telling you dude, try changing the workstation in question to Win 98 SE. I went through tons of crap, and did that last, on three data collection PCs and one office PC and had a great improvement!
