Maybe I am looking at the Time-Phase/Projected Balance incorrectly but here is what I’m seeing. The inventory is consumed and on 2/4 the balance is 103 with a demand on 2/10 of 6 which will reduce the on-hand below 100. My take is that the Suggestion tells you, you need to place an order (100 pieces) to arrive on 2/10 so that you don’t fall below the minimum.

If your MRP runs are being logged, the log files provide more detailed information on why that suggestion is being generated. Entering a file name in the Log field the MRP options will generate the log files on the app server.

It looks like the logging is set to overwrite so I’m not sure where I’d find our MRP Logs.

The exact path varies by the company and user, but it should be something like this:

c:\EpicorData\Companies\<<Company>>\Log\<<UserID>>

My mistake, I filed Min Order Qty of 100 in head as Min Qty.

I’m not the system administrator so I’m not sure I’d have access to this / don’t know where I’d enter this path.

Sounds like unless I can get a hold of these logs I’m SOL?

Can you check the dates being used in your setup? If it’s on a schedule, see what the parameters are for that schedule. I’ve seen some weird issues where you have things like cutoff dates in the past, and/or historical dates allowed for jobs.

It looks like we have allow historical dates checked. Is that what’s causing these erratic suggestions?

It’s possible if you have old jobs mucking things up. I can’t say for sure that’s what’s going on, but I know that if your dates aren’t real (Aka, in the past and you aren’t done with it yet), it can be super confusing.

What I found for the part in the server logs is as is below. It looks like it’s considering jobs / consumption from April '24 that doesn’t show up in time phase. Is this because of the Lead Time CutOff?
