I noticed there is now an Inactive setting in the Kinetic UI Customer Maintenance screen.

It’s new in one of the Kinetic versions. @timshuwy has talked about it a few times on here.
This was a feature added to allow you to mark a customer inactive. This then makes it so that the customer no longer shows on search screens. I believe if you already have an invoice for the inactive customer, it allow payments to be received… just no new transactions.

Yes, this was idea Log In - Epicor Identity and was completed in Oct 2021 (a long time ago).
There is another new idea to make the marking of customers automatic. see Log In - Epicor Identity which was entered just yesterday. I also merged in a similar idea that was older.
