As a policy we want to trap inspection costs affiliated with jobs. We
have considered adding an inspection operation / workcenter after every
production work center. We don't really like this idea. As an
alternative we are considering having inspection operators log into
operations as setup while they are working on those parts for 1st
articles. This makes sense in that we will be able to burden inspection
time to the workcenter they are actually working on. Does anybody see a
downside to this? How do you or do you trap this time?
