We are trying to get MRP running and having issues. We are an on-prem user.
When I go into Process MRP I am trying to run a small MRP run by filtering on Site, Part Class and Product Group. MRP seems to be ignoring this and running everything. Any Ideas?
Maybe this isn’t an answer, but some experience. I sometimes run MRP for a single part number, but it will still process hundreds more. The hundreds more are the subcomponents of that one part, and other ripple effects (subcomponents of the subcomponents, etc.).
Is this the issue you are seeing? Or something else?
Also, do you run logging during MRP?
I am trying to log when I run MRP but it is not putting the log in the place I define. I am putting the log path in Log but when i look on the server it is not there. Does it have to be a local log path on my computer?
Once issue I am having is that it is erroring every time I run.

Hmm, well I never got that fancy with the location. I just use a simple name and then grab it from wherever on the server it ends up.

I don’t see that folder structure. I see / EpicorData / Companies / / log
I entered / EpicorData / Companies / / log / in the log box on process mrp and it did not populate the logs.
I found the logs. I am running in Pilot/UAT the system agent that tells it where to put the logs was pointed to production.
