Jobbing Shop Production Scheduling

Mark,
If you use phantom assemblies in your BOM configuration, I would recommend going to 403D. We were at 403C for several weeks before we realized that components within phantoms were getting two(2) PartDtl records created for each component. The distinguishing characteristic of the bogus duplicate was that the due date was blank. Nonetheless, a careless buyer could procure material based on this apparent requirement.

FWIW,

We are a Manufacturing Jobbing Shop and I would like to hear from
anyone who has successfully implemented the scheduling into a simular
environment, with the hope of paying you a visit to see and discuss
the benefits and pitfalls of such a system.
Any help would be appreciated.
