Labor=Buden on Time and Expense screen

We are on 9.05.701 and enter our labor manually thru Time and Expense entry. Our resource groups are marked labor=burden. We don't have a BPM forcing them to be equal. Our labor have equal labor and burden fields. I do have a BPM in place to make sure they are equal for direct labor entries as we had a fat-fingered entry person that occasionally wiped out one or the other.

Hello-

When entering labor hours via the time and expense screen, we would like the burden hours to automatically populate with the number of hours we enter into the labor field.  I was told the Labor=Burden glag set to ON in the resource group record would allow this but the burden field does not populate even though it is checked.  s there a way to set this up without using a BPM?

Is the labor you are entering going against a job/project/service call or is it going against an indirect code? If it is an indirect code then you can't report burden against it.  Otherwise they should equal each other.

This would normally happen when your guys clock into Epicor using MES.  Every Labor hour will equal a Burden hour when you have Labor=Burden on the resource group.

But through Time and Expense Entry this will NOT happen.  You have to add it manually.  Or like you mentioned a BPM.
