Automate so Burden hours will equal labor hours in Epicor 905

OK, why would you not want to set that checkbox on the Resource Group level? If you are trying to set Burden = Labor that checkbox is purposed for that with MES.

Thanks, I do not want to set that check box in the Resource Group. I customized Time and Attendance and would like the customized version to automatically set the Burden Hours to the Labor Hours that the Setup Personnel enter.

After further research I prefer actual Code to accomplish this. I have never coded with VB.Net although I have done a considerable amount of coding with other languages in the past. I tried to introduce code and found I do not know enough about VB.Net to accomplish this task.

Thanks

There is a setting in the Resource group to make burden hours equal labour hours.  That is in version 9.05.700C anyway.

What is the easiest way (BPM or Code) to make a customized Time and Attendance form to automatically make burden hours equal to the labor hours that were entered? In this customized form the user can only select Production or Setup hours. I would prefer code. If you can provide this code it would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

>> automatically make burden hours equal to the labor hours
Just wondering...
Any cases where the Resource Group setup "Burden = Labor" doesn't not apply? Or you can't use that for some reason?

>>customized form so user can only select Production or Setup hours
Do you just need to hide/disable the "Start Indirect" button on the main form?
If you haven't already doen this, you'll find it a little more involved than customizing forms in the full client.
There are a couple answerbooks on Epicweb about customizing the MES form.
Try searching for 663YSD.
