Latest version of Win Server & MS SQL for 10.0.700?

Does anyone know what is the latest version of Windows Server and Microsoft SQL Server is supported for 10.0.700?

The longer term plan is to upgrade E10 but my client has an immediate need to upgrade the underlying servers.

Windows Server 2012 R2 with SQL Server 2016 or 2017

Windows Server 2016 with SQL Server 2016 or 2017

Windows Server 2019 with SQL Server 2016, 2017, or 2019.

Hi Chad - my request is same . So that means we can run Epicor 10.0.700 on windows server 2016 with SQL server 2016 /2017 ?

Our SQL version is 2014 can we use it with windows server 2016 ?
or we need to upgrade our SQL version to 2016 ?

The requirements above seem to be for the latest Kinetic (version 11)

This is what ERP 10.0.x required.

Those were the Kinetic requirements. 10.0.700 has different requirements.

SQL Server 2014 SP3 is compatible with Server 2016. That said - SQL Server 2014 is end of life as of 2019. So It’s not getting updates anymore. Extended support (if you pay for it) ends July of this year. SQL Server 2016 mainstream ended in 2021 and extended ends in 2026.

Have you thought about upgrading Epicor? Epicor doesn’t support 10.0.700 anymore. The newer versions of Epicor support newer SQL and newer Windows Server OS.

thanks ! we will be upgrading in near future but as of now we are looking opportunity of running Epicor 10.0.700 on any latest windows server version like 2016 or 2019 as current 2012 version is EOL .

I haven’t but it probably would run. Technically not supported but I’m sure it would work.
