Hi All,
A quick and easy one as I don’t see Windows 11 specified in the 10.2.700.xx documents anywhere
Is Windows 11 supported on ERP 10.2.700 releases, or is it known if it ever will be? We don’t have plans to move to the Kinetic / 11 releases anytime soon at all
If it’s not officially supported, has anyone used WIndows 11 successfully with 10.2.700?
Thanks Chadd,
Asking mainly because we don’t have any Win11 machines yet, but have just seen Microsoft are going to stop selling (or have already stopped selling) Win10
I’m sure we wouldn’t be the only ones in the same spot, least I know I can start some testing then thanks
Windows 11 was released to the public on October 5th, 2021.
Epicor certifies all mainstream supported Windows operating systems when we start development for a particular Kinetic/ERP release.
Windows 11 for Kinetic will only be for 2022.1 and versions going forward.
Only those Operating systems explicitly mentioned in the Epicor Kinetic/ERP New Install guide for the Epicor Kinetic/ERP release in question are certified.
Certifying an operating system for use with the Epicor Kinetic/ERP production is an involved task due to the amount of testing required.
10.2.700 is not certified the last time I checked, it works but if you go to support, they may tell you, that the problem is you, not them. But then again, arent they always pointing the finger at you anyways even when you are certified.
