I added a field (text area) to a screen (customer entry) in application studio. The layer is saved. It tested fine. I hit publish but when I open the screen again it reverts to the original (after logging out and back in). When I go back to application studio, I see the layer I created. What should I be looking at as far as troubleshooting? This is in Kinetic 23.1. Thank you.
Did you apply your layer to the menu item?

No I did not. Thank you. The next thing is I want to reference that field in another screen. So I added a text area to Customer Entry. I want to reference that info when the customer number is entered in Sales Order Entry. I’m not sure how to do that.
There’s plenty of examples on the site of how to do this . . . have you searched?
I have searched but no luck. I’ll keep trying.
