Look up part description with Configurator

I would like to know if there is a way to pull in a part’s description into the configurator UI while configuring a part.

So I could type in the part number into an input in the configurator, then that part description appears in a separate input.

Is this possible?

This is possible using a server UD method. Are you a SaaS customer?

You can make the control bound to a dynamic query if that works for you.
