Hi everyone
we are using the planning module, and i would like to mass update the vacation of 2 resource group composed of 20-30 pers. Each person have his own dates of vacation.
I tried by copy past the exeptions days in their calendar, but it doesn’t work. I don’t want to do it manually (hours by hours / day by day / person by person) 
.
Any idea?
A few years back, I built a Calendar Exceptions Updateable BAQ Dashboard for entering Holiday each year. You could do something like that but for your employees. Mine is at the company production calendar level, not at the group/resource level.
I understand, but if each of your production employee have their holidays not at the same time…
We add each employee as a resource in, different ressource group, to run the mrp calculation correctly (with capabilities). But so that the Mrp won’t schedule any activity during employee holidays, i have no choice to set vacation day epmloyee per employee…
I can’t imagine that i’m the only one to do like that, unless it is the wrong way to do
Yes, correct. I meant for you to build a dashboard for those calendar exceptions for your employees.
Your dashboard and updateable BAQ would have to be slightly different than mine - but built on the same principles.
@Jarry before you get too deep in changing the calendar make sure that MRP honors that update. We found that to make a resource truly “offline” we had to move it to a temporary inactive resource group. Epicor plans like the resource “could” come back online. Or at least it did when we started years ago.
I do have a calendar updatable because there was an issue in my E10.2 version that once set a calendar exception could not be unset.
