Menu item is set to an invalid program

On one of our computers when they try to run a LIT i get an error messaged that says “The menu item is set to an invalid program.” I ran the same thing on another computer and it worked just fine. I tried to reinstall e10 on that computer. Is there anything that I’m missing?

What’s an LIT?
Did you use the same user account on both computers? If not it could be a permissions issue

Thanks!

Its a Load Identification Tag that opens up in SSRS. I used the same user name on both computers.

I also just copied the Epicor folder from a computer that it worked on and moved it over to the computer the it doesn’t work on. Just to see if the folder was corrupted but it still doesn’t work.

Clearing client cache is worth a try. Also, is this the exact same OS, .NET versions, etc?

I tried clearing the cache on it. Still doesn’t work, I looked at .net its the same same operating system with the same service pack. I really don’t see any difference between the two. I’m starting to think of just reinstalling the whole computer and start over from scratch.

This is a custom SSRS report that is directly on the menu?

Can you from a screenshot of the menu item’s configuration in Menu Maintenance?

And if it is a custom SSRS report on the main menu, what is the default browser on the workstation where it doesn’t work? When a URL is passed from Epicor we use the OS default browser which could be the X factor.

Yes it is a custom SSRS report. I’m able to run it on my computer just fine going through Chrome, but the computer that it isn’t working on the default is IE11. I’m not sure what you want a screenshot of, I’m new to Epicor.

Open Menu Maintenance - System Setup > Security Maintenance > Menu Maintenance

Pick the menu from the tree that you are referencing and screenshot the detail

I don’t have that program of Epicor :frowning:. I probably don’t have the permissions for it. But i come up with a work around until I can get what I need. Just made a Favorite of the SSRS report from IE so they just have to go to there browser and run it that way instead of going through E10.

Thank you all for your help with this problem.
