I just ran into an issue where the PO Form wouldn't print some detail lines because of 8.5. It only happens on the computer where 8.5 is installed. I would recommend staying at 8.0. I haven't seen any great features with 8.5 that are not in 8.0. you can still use Crystal Enterprise with 8.0 if you want, although after using CE for two months, it's not all it's cracked up to be.
Stick with 8.0. I hear it's hard to go backwards, too. Lots of registry keys to delete.

Subject: RE: [Vantage] Crystal 8.5 missing DLLs ?
I don't know if it's just us, but I have not seen mentioned anywhere
in the list : when trying to distribute reports with Crystal Reports Pro
8.5, we get the message that two dlls are missing, and if e ignore, the
distributed report does not work. The two files are : mspdox40.dll and
msxbse40.dll. Doing multiple searches on the internet has only revealed that
a lot of people are looking for these two files, but with no luck. We
e-mailed Crystal support and are waiting for an answer but it just seems
strange that none of you mentioned this, at least as far as I can tell...
Anyone with some direction on this, please let me know.
Thanks
