I am in the same boat as Bryan on 9.05.701, but need to see the suggestions eventually - have thought of combining the reschedule in/out delta with running time phase inquiry report. Any thoughts?

Good Morning all,
Â
I have a problem where MRP is creating an MRP suggestion to create a job when that job is already created.
Â
First thing I looked at was the Planning Workbench to see if there were inventory problems or a date issue. There was nothing for that part. It looks like below.
Â
A5714-1Â 017177Â O-RING RET RING 303 SS 1/2 OD X .32Â 3818Â 1/14/2009 12:00:00 AMÂ 1/19/2009 12:00:00 AMÂ FÂ
A5714-1Â MRP00000000180Â O-RING RET RING 303 SS 1/2 OD X .32Â 3818Â 12/17/2008 12:00:00 AMÂ 12/22/2008 12:00:00 AMÂ FÂ
The only thing that would make sense would be if Sales were entering duplicate orders!
Â
Any help would be appreciated.

Did you lock the date on the original job? If the sales order has a
due date earlier than your scheduled job date and the job date is
locked, MRP will recommend a new, earlier order.

Hey Guys,
Need some help here? How can we set parameters that will not make suggestions that we cannot act on. We are getting too many false suggestions. We just upgraded to Epicor 9.05.702 progress64.
Reschedule Out and In Delta. Out Delta will affect whether a postpone or cancel suggestion gets generated. Fro example if you set this to 7, any change in demand within 7 days will not generate a suggestion, the In Delta is the opposite, it affects expedite suggestions. Try playing with these and see if that helps. Also you could simply uncheck Process MRP if you have a few items that always give you problems.
