Multi-Company Mayhem

We do the same thing.
"Current Company Only" doesn't behave as we expected.

One other note regading customizations..
We finally ended up naming them the same in each company.
Originally we had been using different names for customizations & kept having issues.

I'm trying to do something on E9.05.702A/Progress that I thought would be brainless.

I have 8 companies.  I've created a BAQ Report, hung it on the menu and everything works great.  But I only want this BAQ Report to be available in Company_A.  Upon placing it on the menu, it's available in all 8 companies.  So I created a new Menu Security record specifically to only be used by my BAQ Report on the Menu.  I marked the box in Menu Security that says "Current Company Only".  After relogging into Epicor so the menu updates, I still see the BAQ Report on the Menu for all company entities.

What am I doing wrong?

We accomplished this by putting each company's dashboards in their own folder under Main Menu, then setting each folder with their own Security with Current Company Only set. The Security Manager can see all of them, whereas others only see the appropriate folder for each company.

Pretty sure that “current company only” does not work.  I remember trying when we upgraded and it didn’t work but since I had a workaround I didn’t even bother reporting it to Epicor (too many other issues I needed addressed).  Oh and in case you haven’t run across it yet… I will save you the frustration I had – summary tables to not work cross-company BAQ’s…
