Need Help Adding RDD

Thanks to all for help with this.
I finally figured out what I was doing wrong.
I'm never done this before, but now with your help I have learned how.
My mistake was:
In Report Maintenance > Under the Custom Report Style I created, I had not chosen the correct Data Definition.
That was the reason it never was seen in the XML.
Several of you suggested this late yesterday, but with a fresh mind today, I realized what you were meaning.

Thanks to all for your assistance.
Jim Moore

Did you search the actual XML file in your reports directory to see if the fields are output? If not, I have found sometimes I have had to output the FULL table to get the fields output...(move all fields to included)

I don't know why it isn't showing up in the XML - that is the strange part.

In Crystal did you Set Datasource location to your new XML file?

Then under Database - verify Database?

Yes, I pointed to the duplicate of SubCPack that I created as a new report
style called CustomSubCPack.rpt and made it the default before running /
previewing Subcontractor Shipment Entry.

I'm trying to add Character01 and Date01 from SubShipH to a duplicate I made
of SubCPack.
I want to report off of these two added fields from the customization I
added to Subcontractor Shipment Entry.

I have added those fields from the excluded to included area in RDD, but I
don't see them in Crystal to add or in the XML that is created.

What steps should I take to do this?

Jim,
Â
Is the report style you are using tied to this new RDD in which you added the UD fields ?
