I’d stick with the 32 bit driver supplied by Epicor… looked at the 64 bit driver once, costs A LOT.
It’s been a while but… I remember getting around the bit issue by setting up the linked server on an intermediate box, 32 bit and running SQL Express 32 bit.

or install OE10.2A x64 on the SQL server (or, just the 64bit driver) that comes with Epicor 9.05 as the OpenEdge x64 ODBC drivers are backwards compatible
8 and 10 but no 9
Same thing happened to me.
But I think the OE downloads were only updates so you need the media anyway.
I ordered replacement E9 media from Epicor.
Can’t remember if I had to go thru my CAM.
Also, not sure if you’d care at this point but…
V8 didn’t always come with the OE developer license installed.
I had to get new media with the help of my CAM for that too.
If I remember… a development license is required for those.

Better late than never…
for…field width
On EpicWeb you can search Vantage/Vantage 8
Key fields “field” & “width” (or maybe ODBC)
e.g. anwerbook 1273BRK
for…view
On EpicWeb again, you can search Vantage/Vantage 8
Key fields “VIEW” (or maybe ODBC)
e.g. answerbook 10145MPS - and you need to contact support for the attachment.
Yes, this a a screwup on their side.
I had to contact my CAM & he straightened this out for me.
Note… I’ve had to repeat this request at least twice, I think Epicor must revise licensing once a year and may inadvertantly screw up access to older versions in your EpicWeb account.
