I would seriously test, retest, and then test again, and then when you
think you've got it all hammered out, test even more. We had a big
issue in our company with our own people not hammering the test system
enough (at least in our one facility). Keep on top of issues with the
system and make sure you document all your issues and who will be
solving them.



Make sure you have enough horsepower on the Server and Workstation end -
especially if you do job scheduling.

Hi,
We're having the big kickoff meeting the second week in Jan to begin
the Vantage 8.0 conversion at our company from 2 legacy ERP systems.
We're a multi-site, multi-currency international company. I'm running
the project as our internal project manager.
What have any of you experienced who have gone through a new
installation in terms of experience or gotchas with either Epicor, the
software itself, the user community, etc.
I'm just looking for some some backround (good as well as bad) for
someplace to start.
