New Customer Report

Thanks Jim! The part method is very straight forward, just wondered if
you may have tackled the other side..

This was on Part.GetNewPart (Part Maintenance). We are not using the
quote method to create parts.

Unfortunately unless you have a BPM in place that is automatically filling
one of the date fields with the entry date and then basing your report on
that there is no way to know when a customer was entered into the system. I
guess you could base it on when they entered the first order or when the
first quote for them was made.

We have been down this road just like you. I have a BPM on my list of things
to do to autofill one of the custom fields with the entry date.

Charlie,

The real DUH in this thread is that Epicor didn't see fit to have a born on date for parts. So of course, as soon as I learned how I created a Born On Date BPM that assigns todays date on new part to the Date01 field. Works like a charm!

Jim, that born on date BPM, which BO/Methods are you using? We created
parts two ways here, one is directly in part maintenance, the other is
get details from quote, which will actually create the shell of the part

This was on Part.GetNewPart (Part Maintenance). We are not using the quote method to create parts.
