I created a new warehouse (ASH) to move special parts out of our MAIN WH and added the BIN names into ASH. I set the primary WH and BINs for these parts to be primary (DMT) and they show as primary, but the users are reporting that “when shipping / issuing / receiving inventory it is still defaulting to the Main Warehouse”. I feel like there is a setting that I missed in my DMT work. To date, via DMT, I have run the PlantPlant with these columns Company, PartNum, Plant, PrimWhse and the Part Warehouse with these Company, PartNum, WarehouseCode, DefaultWhse, Plant, PrimBinNum. I have searched this site, and others with not much luck. Maybe I’m not using the right phrases?? Any help is appreciated, thank you, WWC.
