ODBC error with Access Vantage Version 5.00 3.48

I do not know how your ODBC is set up.

If you use proexp, you need to apply all patches to make it work and need to
use MS-Access 2000 or higher. The error "#name?" on the fields and the ODBC
failed could be because:

1. You have not installed all ODBC patches.
2. You are using MS-Access 97 or lower (not using ADO)

When setting up the driver at the client, make sure you also select
Uncommitted on the second tab; otherwise, you will start locking tables up
and "pushing Vantage users out of Vantage".

Subject: [Vantage]ODBC error with Access Vantage Version 5.00 3.48

I have a basic query in Access using ODBC driver with the Job Head,
Job Assembly and Labor Detail tables. I run a query, the query runs
and displays the data, but within a few seconds the following error
appears ODBC-call failed. [MERANT][ODBC PROGRESS driver][PROGRESS]
Cursor not opened (7511) (#-20040). When you close or hit OK to the
error message all the data fields change to #name?. Has anyone seen
this or know a work around. TIA.
