Problem. It was capacitors on the motherboard. That was causing the video

Excellent thought Wayne, in that vein I've also had MOBO's with a fan on the
AGP chip die and have the same effect. Better check all internal component
fans.

B.T.D.T...... check the fan on the CPU chip. If it has failed or is
getting close, the chip starts to overheat, and will go into a low power
mode to save itself from going up in smoke!

He Guys and Gals,

I have a computer that appears to go in hibernation when the user is
actually using the computer. It "shut down" but the power light is still
one. I have checked for a virus and everything seems to be clean. Has
anyone seen this or know what it is? Someone else said it was because he
was using a USB Mouse and Keyboard?? But he has been using this keyboard
and mouse on this pc for 2 years and nothing like before.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated

Try switching out the power supply. You would be surprised at the number of
strange behaviors that occur when a power supply is dieing.
