Having problems uploading crystal report, seems the problem is the
user ID within open edge- data administraation. Dose anyone no how i
chages this?

regards
Openedge has only one user (sysprogress) installed as the default.
That user has access to everything and is also the data admin. You
can add other users using the OpenEdge data administrator, however
the added users will not have any authority to the tables. You will
need to use Progress Explorer to grant the necessary rights to those
users. In fact Progress Explorer can be used to add the users as
well. Support has the necessary documentation to guide you through
this as well as a file that helps to grant authority to the tables.
Just ask for documentation on how to add ODBC users.

This is dependent on you running 8.03.305x. If you are running
8.03.400 with the new 10.1b Openedge, the Progress Explorer function
has gone away. I have not found a way to get around that.

We have 10.1b OpenEdge with MS SQL on our Vantage 8.03.403d Server. Progress Explorer is still there and shows the AppServers and Databases as before on 10.0b OpenEdge.
