OT: Forwarding Mail Home

What about Outlook Web Access, then he would just need to connect to the
Internet and use his web browser to access his e-mail.

Only a few have PSTs. We don't have any way at this time for him to get
to our server from home. I was hoping I could come up with something in
the mean time.

Do your users keep their mail on the server, or do they have local PSTs?
I
was thinking maybe it would be easier if you just set your user up so
they
can just pull their mail directly off the Exchange server from home.

I have someone here who wants to forward copies of the mail they get to
their home address. We have Exchange 2000 and Office 2000.

The only way I could get this to function was to set up a contact in
exchange that was this individuals home address. I then went to the
advanced tab on the individuals company account and set forwarding to
the contact I previously made (I couldn't just type his home address
in). The only flaw with this is that I have to turn forwarding on and
off for him and it doesn't copy the message to his home account it just
forwards the mail. He would prefer a copy in both places.

Does anyone know how to accomplish this? I have tried the rules wizard
within Outlook. I am stumped. Any ideas?

TIA,

Juliet

What I've done in the past is to make a custom recipient for the user's home
e-mail account, then go into their Exchange mailbox properties and advanced
options. Under there is a box for alternate recipient, which you have to
pick from the global address list, and the option to blind forward them or
keep a copy in the original account as well. This is Exchange 5.5 so 2k may
be different. Then I also hide the custom recipient from the address book
so it doesn't show up for everyone else.
