OT Email storage

No problem mon. Set their main workstation for delivery to personal folders
(local to their machine). Set the alternate workstation to "Inbox" delivery.
That way mail can be saved in one place yet viewed from an alternate
location. I don't know about your situation. We have down-sized and I have
HR people doubling in Accounting and I use this method. I will say I'm using
Exchange 5.5.

I have a questions for you all
I am running Outlook 2000 on all my workstations (A few have outlook xp)
Due to recent downsizing in the company some people are shifting
responabilites and filling in here and there.
Thus they are using two different computers during the day
One user asked if they could have their email on the second system they
used
I said no
(AKA we do not have exchange just a basic mail server)
If I move their individual data file can they access their email in both
places?
AKA two separate machines and they won't loose anything?

Thanks

James,

Yes and No. I have several PSTs located on the server for this reason...but
you can only access a PST with one connection at a time...So long as they
are shutting down Outlook on the other computer, this will work for you. I
don't know and would not try mixing the environment though...if they have
2000 on one computer, I would not use Outlook XP to access it. Unless
someone tells you otherwise.

Good luck,
