We are on the cloud version 2025.2.20.
I have a user that when views an inactive part it does not show inactive. I have cleared the cache, logged them off and tried a few different browsers. Still same results. I am waiting to hear from them if it is just the one part or others.
Any suggestions or thoughts?
If you create a clone of their user account–same permissions, etc.–does the issue persist?
Is the user looking at the correct environment? (PILOT, THIRD, LIVE, company, site, etc.)
Is there another user with the same permissions / duties who can test the issue?
yes correct environment. I will test using my test account. other users from his dept with the same access can see it.
That is a strange one! Try to make a job with that “inactive” part. If it is really inactive, you shouldn’t be able to create a job for it. That’s all I got! Good luck!
Well the issue was the field security we set. I guess something changed with a revision or patch because it was working fine before. We updated the default to Read and the users can now see the field data correctly.
