Petty Cash - Personal Data

Hi everyone, when we are trying to update the “Personal Data” (refer to attached screen). It is not updating.

You added “customization” to the tags of your post.

Does this problem only exist in your customization? Or does it exist in the base form too?

Your screen shot is missing the “Additional Personal Data:” label (see pict from Users Guide below). Is it possible the text field is not the original, and/or it’s not bound to the DB field?

There is no customization in this form. It’s already exist in the base form.

You can make sure it’s not a customization by enableing developer mode and launching the program. Then select Base Only. For example, with Dev Mode enabled and I launch Part Entry, I see:


I can select one of those customizations to load the form with those customizations. If I check the Base Only box and click OK, I get the “base” (no-customizations) form.

If the problem doesn’t exist in the base form, then its a customization causing the problem.

The fact that the “DB Field” is blank in the Field Help, shows that it is not pulled directly from the DB, but rather a “view”. Specifically, the PCashDoc view. This is usually done when the UI form needs to combine data from different tables.

This is odd because there actually is a table named PCashDoc.

I just searched the Epicor site for PCashDoc, and found that appears to be new in E10. So maybe you’ve found a bug.

I’d contact epicor about this. Point out that this entry uses a different currency (assuming that OMR, isn’t the default for your company).
