Reopening and changing closed jobs in Vantage 8?

Good point. The production planners can mark a job complete if no more costs are to accrue to them. However the accounting role can wait into the next period to actually Close out the Jobs to address such situations. Epicor typically recommends 30 days out from the period in which the job was opened in.

Does anybody know if Vantage 8 supports having a closed job - reopened
and changes made (material added or deleted)?

We want to track any changes made to a shipped product in the field
updated back in vantage to keep the job in vantage a live reflection
of the product in the field ?

yes you can go back and change it as long as you
didn't run the Capture COS/Wip Activity for that
period of time.

You have to Unclose it and then you are able to make
changes as long as you didn't run the other report

as I am typing this I am not sure about Material. I
Know labor falls into this catagory.

I am sure if I am wrong I will be corrected
