Reschedule a job

I will give that a try. It doesn't happened often but, I just don't like it when I can't figure it out.

Thank you

We do not have advanced scheduling.

I am just baffled why I cannot get my job to have a due date of 8/5/2013.

The only operation with any significant time is the subcontract operation - which has days out of 10.

There are no shortages and I click ignore constraint material. Beside all material are on hand.

When I reschedule the job, it gives me a message that "the job is currently schedule to finish 8/19.

In Job Scheduling I cannot move the operations to start today.

The resource group has a queue time of 8 - 0 on the resource detail.

Any suggestions? I do not like scheduling.

Thank you
Well two things could be going on, Is your subcontract days out only days of the week or do you include Saturday and Sunday as working days? Another thing is if there is a PO date that prohibits the job from starting until the PO is received in that will also kick the job out. Did you try forward scheduling from Today with Ignore Constrained Materials checked?

A PO has not been created. The 10 DaysOut does not include Saturday and
Sunday but, this wouldn't add that much time.

I can't even get the first operation to start today - no labor has been
charged on the job.

I ignored Constraint materials and tried forward and backward scheduling.

The Subcontract operation is the 3rd operation and has no bearing on the 1st
operation.

There just seems that we have a few jobs that just done make sense.

We had some odd issues like this and found that some load was not being released. We also re-started the App Server.
