Restrict a custom combo box to listed data only

Simple issue. I have a combo box that I have added to a form. It has a list of data to select. User have the ability to type in whatever data that they want into the field. How to I limit to only the options the drop down has? Thanks!

I see you never got a reply to this. I am interested in doing this for my combo box. I thought there was a property to set someplace that would restrict the value to one only in the list. However I can’t find it now. Did you figure this out?

epiCombo limit to static data list

If you use the EpiCombo control, you can also set its style to DropDownList through custom code, so that it can only be selected through the drop-down list and the user cannot enter anything.
