Restrict UDF/BPM/Customization Creation access by Company

Is there any way to allow a user to create BPM’s and screen customizations and add UDF’s but restrict them to a specifc company? I don’t see how to configure that in User Account Maintenance

Have a client that owns another entity that’s very independent. They will get much better pricing for users if the company is installed in the same database since they can share volume license pricing. If they got installed on a separate instance & database I’m told they must purchase a new license starting from 0 which is alot more money.

I guess I wan’t the same ‘firewall’ ability that Epicor does with multi-tenant but there is no tenancy control I can see in the on-prem product.

I mean you can give the user access only to a single company that would restrict anything they do from working across companies.
UDF Fields won’t be single company (they aren’t in Mutli tenant cloud either)

But if they only have access to one company, can they develop BPM’s, or do other things that could affect another company?

i believe epicor multi-tenant doesn’t use company as the ‘divider’ but a separate ‘tenant’ field since some hosted clients have multiple companies.
