Anyone have a process that has been working and willing to share for tracking labor costs when a part goes on DMR, dispositioned as rework, part is then reworked?
For tracking the costs -
We have a gross margin dashboard that separates rework costs out into separate columns. Gives an overview of which jobs had rework costs associated to them. BAQ is very complicated… probably still has a bug or 3. It has some proprietary stuff that I can’t share unfortunately.
Then we have another labor detail dashboard that shows all punches for a job, lets you see exactly what was rework.
As far as the process, we either add rework operations to a job and clock to them, or use the rework button on our MES station to flag labor as rework. We’re not currently using Epicor for inspections or DMRs, though I would like to.
