In Internet Explorer check Tools - Options and then the tab for Programs.
Setting it in IE will set for all the Office programs.

I have been having some difficulty with Microsoft Excel. It seems that when
I want to route a spreadsheet an error message appears telling me I have to
make outlook my default email program, but I can't seem to find the page
where to do that. Also after the error message my contact list dosn't come
up for routing the spreadsheet. I know this seems novice but I could use
any feedback I can get. Thanks in advance
