Sales Analysis Report to Excel

We would really like to sort our WIP report by dollar value descending.
Due to the layout of the report, I cannot seem to get the Excel method
of grabbing the data to work.

Any Suggestions?

Thanks,

Instead of cutting and pasting, try opening the text file with Excel.
If you're going to do the same things frequently you may want to look
into setting up a macro in Excel to automate it.

I've done some things here for our controller so that he previews an
report in Vantage, opens Excel and runs a macro, and his data is pulled
in, reformatted and printed from Excel.

How to export Sales Analysis or any other Vantage 8.0 report to Excel?

So far I found, that after you preview report it create a Text file of
that report.
But copy and paste that information to excel makes it very long and
difficult way for formatting and work with that information in excel.

Any suggestions?

Thanks.
I use cut & paste, however, You can build a query under system
management - business management query. This can be down loaded straight
to excel, just be careful with the table links.
